On-line Filing

Some reports can now be filed on-line. If you are a registered committee your treasurer should have received an electronic filing password from the FEC that will allow your committee to file. If you are not an electronic filer, you may still file the on-line Form 5 (Report of Independent Expenditures Made and Contributions Received) and/or Form 9 (24-Hour Notice of Disbursements/Obligations for Electioneering Communications).

Registered committees that do not have an electronic filing password or have forgotten the password, will need to fax a Password Request Letter, on committee letterhead if possible, to the Electronic Filing Office at (202) 219-0674.
